ENGLISH LANGUAGE CLASSES

English Language Classes

Students of all skill levels work to gain a better understanding of the English language, both verbally and in writing, in order to improve work performance, achieve job advancement and/or pursue post-secondary education.  Classes are offered during the day and evenings in Wailuku and Lahaina.  Hui Malama Learning Center is available to create classes that are tailored to specific levels and needs at businesses and community organizations island-wide. 

The English Language Class program helps many adults learn to speak, read and write English better.  Some are looking to attain better jobs, at earning their GEDs, or gaining skills to assist their children to do better in school. 

 

English Language Classes are offered at the Mahalani Site in Wailuku on Mondays and Tuesdays from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

English Language Classes are also offered in Lahaina at the Maria Lanikila Sacred Hearts School, classroom #8, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday and Thursday.
