Eleanor Dudley received her bachelor degree in English
literature from the University of California,
Berkeley. Later, she attended Rudolf Steiner College,
where she received her Waldorf Education teaching
certificate.
Eleanor's first teaching experience was in a San Juan
Ridge school district in California where she was a
multi-cultural coordinator and taught a multicultural
program in grades 1st to 8th. She came to Maui to be
a class teacher at Haleakala Waldorf School. She
began with a combination 5th and 6th grade. After
graduating both grades, Eleanor took two classes from
the 1st to the 8th grade. The last class graduated in
2001. Since then, she has been working with Hui
Malama Learning Center. Eleanor has taught in the
Hawaiian Outdoor Education program, GED prep classes, and tutoring.
She is now Hui Malama's Lead Tutor.
