Our Vision

Our vision is to thrive as a community where learning is shared and experienced as a rewarding, and empowering lifetime activity.   We strive to provide quality educational services in a caring and comfortable setting, to learners who are seeking knowledge and life skills.  Along with helping to achieve individual educational goals, we assist students to become independent life-long learners, to be aware of their own learning style and to access and effectively utilize informational resources.

Hui Malama Learning Center recognizes the need to anticipate and plan for the continued growth and expansion of our programs and services by assessing the needs of our students and educational philosophy so that we may continue with integrity, quality and the positive influence of our organization.

Our Educational Philosophy

Hui Malama Learning Center is committed to providing educational opportunities to everyone. We offer unique programming to those seeking education outside the traditional school systems.  At Hui Malama, learning occurs in a safe and supportive environment to enable students to achieve their learning goals.

We believe that learning is enhanced and enriched when individual and unique learning style, pace and process is honored and accommodated in a friendly, supportive setting.  We utilize flexible scheduling, individualized instruction and effective and stimulating teaching methods to assist students in achieving their educational goals. 

We recognize the value of literacy and competency in all areas and stages of life and strive to promote lifelong learning by providing a continuum of educational services with an integrated and relevant curriculum.
