Tiare was born and raised on Maui. She has two daughters, one who is a former student of Hui Malama Learning Center.   Tiare is Hui Malama's Youth Services Administrator and is an avid Hawaiian Canoe Club paddler.  She is involved in cultural activities that include environmental, ocean, and Hawaiian principle values.
